Roy's Motel is a cafe, motel and gas station, defunct for many years but now being largely restored on the National Trails Highway Route 66. This must be the most iconic and most widely recognised sign on the American Highways. Situated in the Mojave desert town of Amboy, San Bernadino County, California. The structural integrity of signs in the desert states do not decay to the same extent as in eastern states due to atmospheric conditions.
