Frisch, by 1954, decided to sell Frisch Big Boy burger bars as Francises, with obviously not much in the way of brand guidelines, which makes every Big Boy sign a unique design. This is based on a sign in Columbus Ohio. The only concession was to change the statue to a more recent one, but with the addition of the hat which was dropped in more recent brand updates.
